Tony coaxing Daffinah to walk over the rivulet of water.
There are a total of 51 pictures spread throughout four picture books. Tony started out just riding Daffinah around the stables until he came across this "Grand Canyon" that Daffinah did not want to cross! He worked with her from the saddle for a little bit, but could see that she needed coaxing from the ground first without having to maneuver with Tony on her back.

I didn't realize that a trickle of water could be so scary for a horse!
But I can't fault her. I'm afraid of a lot of things too! God has to work with me...just like Tony is working with Daffinah.
It is amazing that such a huge animal can fear something that is so small. The way Daffinah and the other horses learn to trust Travis and Tony is they way we need to trust God!
