TnT went on an eight mile ride this afternoon. The news worthy part of the ride is that Travis was riding Oakley and she responded to all his commands without hesitation! He let her trot and run and she followed all her cues!! She doesn't stop like she used to, but she is getting better.
Tony rode Coal of course.
This picture is a lithograph of Tony with my horse Oakley! This was before she started all her bucking and she was reining at the slightest touch and stopping on a dime. The only thing we can think of is that she was hurting somewhere or people from the park were spooking her...don't know for sure though.

Yes, I always suspect when a good horse begins doing something naughty that maybe it is hurting somewhere.
Oakley has always been real touchy about her left hind leg, (she pinned me to the fence during a bath one time!) so I wonder if it was injured on her trip from Oklahoma to California. They say she kick the trailer to pieces...
