Travis and Tony gave me a brand new camera for Christmas! It is a Canon EOS 30D Digital. You will have to bear with me as I learn how to take better pictures with this awesome camera. There are so many bells and whistles, it will take me some time to get all the settings right! The little dark brown 'n' white little girl went to her new family Christmas Eve. We met Shelby and her mom, Dorothy over at the stables when we first moved here in 2001. So their puppy will grow up with Shelby's two year old Arabian filly. The dark tan little girl and her sister Blackie are the last two puppies. The dark tan 'n' black puppy has been nicknamed "Dippy" for Dip Stick" because of the coloring on her tail! She has a perfect line about an inch and a half from her body. It looks like she has used her tail to check the oil in something! I will take a picture to show you. Both little girls are spending their days with the big dogs now and sleep with them in the garage! I pull them in to the back room to give them their softened "Pedigree" when it is feeding time. But they have adjusted to the other dogs and love Diesel Marie, our Red-tailed Golden Retriever! She would have made an excellent mommy, but she never had any puppies. Diesel Marie has raised all of Katy's puppies. Now that they are weaned, Katy will be spending more time with the cowboys and horses! And Diesel will be training the puppies up in the way they should go! Here Katy is watching Travis like she is supposed to do, and Rusty is looking around a little. Oops! They got to go over to the stables last night and had a great time, they stuck close to Travis and Tony as they rode Cahlibur and Coal around a little before feeding time. Tony threw a saddle on Coal, while Travis rode bareback. They rode out into the field and let me take pictures to my hearts' content. With it getting dark so early and working nights, TnT don't have the time to work the horses as much as they would like. The powers that be need to not worry about daylight savings time. And even though we are gaining a minute of evening light a day at a time, we can't wait for spring!!! (Arizona has the right idea)

Good luck with the new camera. It's fun to have a new toy.
Siiiiiigh. Seeing those pictures makes me miss you guys all the more. Merry Belated Christmas, and happy new year, and all that. I would feel distinctly sorry for myself for not getting a chance to see you right now, but I've got one GREAT thing going for me: I'm in Montana right now. Woo!Woo! :) There's no snow, but it's absolutely gorgeous, of course.
Thanks Sheila! This new toy is awesome.
Hi Becky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We miss you too. But, are glad that you are having the time of your life in Montana!
Thanks for stopping by my site...can't wait to dig into yours and read about those Mustangs!
Hi Tonya, I couldn't resist knowing that you had horses, too!
