Our first Equine Experience...

Last years' 3rd Annual Equine Experience, held March 31 - April 2, was our first Equine Experience and a lot of fun! Along with many others, Travis and Tony worked behind the scenes. It was three days filled with setting up and tearing down corrals and obstacle courses for the clinicians and helping with the Horse Sale.
Just as soon as TnT got off work on Thursday, we drove over to Paso Robles, got a room at Motel 6 and went over to the fairgrounds that were only about 2 1/2 blocks away. TnT needed to check in and found out what they would be doing for the next couple of days. They met the rest of the crew that they would be working with and then we went to eat.
On the way over, we stopped on the side of the road to chat with a friend of TnT's. She was heading to the ranch and would meet us at the fairgrounds on Saturday. She didn't recognize the color of the truck we were in, but knew by the double American flags flying from the truck that it had to be TnT. (Tony had just had his truck repainted.)
Friday morning we were at the fairgrounds a little before 7am and was able to drive past the gate with the pass and arm bands that we had been issued the night before. This is going to be exciting!

If work permits they will be there in 2007!
