Kids Day at Equine Experience...

April 1st, 2007 was the day for kids during the 2007 Equine Experience in Paso Robles, California. The day started with Cowboy Church in the Auction Barn with Horse trainer Richard Winters bringing us "From the Mount" at 8:30am. The Barn Bonanza started at 9am where the kids were challenged to "see how many different horses you can find!" Cahlibur and Coal were among the many different breeds of horses the children had to look at and learn about!

The kids met back at the Kids Corral to learn roping basics on the ground from Dugan Kelley and got their faces painted and colored their own masterpieces at 11:30am. During Face Painting plus Cowboy & Cowgirl Coloring at the Kids Corral, the kids received a copy of PJ's Little Ones Equine Coloring Book. The children were asked to color their favorite page and we would post their masterpieces on our website and here on our Mustang 'n' Cowboys blog!

At 2pm the kids learned about "Dressage and Quadrille" from Barbi Breen-Gurley in the Warm Up Arena. And last but not least the kids had a stick horse race back at the Kids Corral!!!

Cahlibur 'n' Coal Represent the Mustang Breed at Equine Experience...

That's right! Cahlibur and Coal will be representing the "Mustang" breed at the 4th Annual Equine Experience in Paso Robles, CA. TnT will trailer them over Friday morning after they get off work. There is a possibility that they will get some arena time, but that is not set in stone! I created a tri-fold brochure that visitors to Cahlibur and Coal's pens can take with them. Along with pictures of their Sierra Nevada Pack Trip and the brochures, Cahlibur and Coal will have to shine their best to impress these horse savvy people this weekend!

It's official...a weekend of Equine fun!!!

March 30th through April 1st, Travis, Tony and I will be in Paso Robles, CA helping behind the scenes at the 2007 Equine Experience! If you live on the Central Coast, in the San Joaquin Valley of California, or in Southern California, you might run across one of these posters.
Come join us for a weekend filled with equine fun under the California sun!!! TnT will be showing off Cahlibur and Coal in the "Breed Showcase". What an awesome experience to have the opportunity to tell people about the Mustang breed! When you go to the official website for the "2007 Equine Experience", don't leave until you check out Travis and Tony in the 2006 crowd picture on the welcome page...they are wearing tan jackets, sunglasses and their cowboy hats! I will be helping in the Equine Experience Information Booth and selling some of our "equine" oriented items from PJ's Corner Gift Shoppe.
If you can't read the poster, there will be World Renown Clinicians, Ranch Horse Competition, Kids Day, Round Pen, Cowboy Dressage, Jump Off, Over 150 Vendors, Cowboy Mounted Shooting, Shopping and Dancing. As well as, the 4th Annual Select Sale for Trail Horses, Rope Horses, Ranch Horses, Broodmares and Foals.
